(TAVISTOCK, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) is investigating an assault which occurred at the Tavistock Community Center Memorial Hall on Sunday March 31, 2013 (Easter weekend) in the early morning hours. The adult male victim was attending a buck and doe event at the hall when he was assaulted by an unknown male who was also in attendance at the event. The victim suffered injuries as a result including a concussion.
The suspect, who fled the scene, was in the company of another unknown male. A male and female who witnessed the assault are also looking to be identified.
The suspect is described as:
Male approximately 23-24 years old
5’8 tall
Wearing a baseball hat
