(Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh, ON) On April 17, 2010 shortly after 10:00 pm a Huron OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Glenn’s Hill Road. Upon approaching the driver, the officer could detect an odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. When the driver exited the vehicle, he displayed other signs of being impaired by alcohol.
The driver was arrested for Impaired Driving and was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two samples of his breath. The driver provided the necessary samples and the results confirmed that his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
As a result of the investigation, Stuart HACKETT (30) of Lucknow has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. LP10098635
