(GODERICH, ON) – The Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime unit continues to investigating a robbery that occurred on March 24, 2013 in the Town of Goderich. At approximately 9:20 p.m. a 26 year old male victim was attacked by an unknown suspect as he walked toward the mini-plaza located at the intersection of Victoria Street North and Brock Street. The assailant punched the victim in the face and stole a small quantity of cash. An OPP canine unit completed a search of the area however the suspect was not located.
The victim was later released from Alexandra & Marine General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as:
A Caucasian male, between 20 to 30 years old.
Approximately 6′ tall, approximately 150 lbs. with a thin build and short hair.
He was last seen wearing a white hoody sweatshirt, black jacket and dark pants.
