(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) On April 29, 2013 at approximately 2:11pm, County of Wellington OPP officers responded to the report of a farm accident located on Mill Road, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Firefighters from the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and Paramedics from the Guelph-Wellington EMS responded as well.
Investigation revealed a 19 year old Mapleton Township man got his leg trapped in an auger. Firefighters and Paramedics worked to free the man, who was transported to Guelph General Hospital with major injuries to his left leg.
The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has been notified and will be attending the scene to investigate.
