(Huron East, ON) On Monday, April 12, 2010 at approximately 9:45 pm, Huron OPP officers were dispatched to a fire in an abandoned log home located at the corner of Hensall Road and Front Road. The home has been empty for many years. The owners advised that they have had problems in the past with trespassers who have used the location for partying.
The Seaforth Fire Department attended to battle the flames and further investigation led to the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office being contacted due to the suspicious nature of the fire. The investigation remains ongoing.
