82 Year Old Driver Hits 98 Year Old Pedestrian

(GODERICH, ON) – On June 10, 2013 at approximately 11:20 a.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Huron County Paramedics responded to a vehicle and pedestrian collision located at the intersection of Courthouse Square and South Street. A 98 year old female from Goderich was walking westbound in the crosswalk when she was struck by a Hyundai Accent. As a result, Dorothy MONTGOMERY, 82, from Central Huron has been charged with Fail to Yield to Pedestrian contrary to section 140 (1) (a) of the Highway Traffic Act.
