(GUELPH, ON) On Friday June 14th 2013, at approximately 8:31am, Constable Ian Donaldson of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting stationary radar on Highway 6 (the Hanlon) in the construction zone.
At this time and location, he observed a northbound 2003 Toyota travelling well above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 113 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. The driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Ernesto RIVERA age 84 of Guelph is charged with Speeding 50 or more Km/h contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on 21 August, 2013 to answer to the charge.
