(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – On Sunday July 7, 2013 at approximately 2:08 am Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information from an alert motorist regarding a possible impaired driver leaving the City of Guelph. OPP officers observed the vehicle – a 2013 Ford Fiesta matching the description on Highway 6 in Centre Wellington Twp – being operated in an erratic manner.
Police stopped the vehicle and spoke to the driver who had been drinking. He was placed under arrest for impaired driving.
Walter Livingston aged 38 of Fergus has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on August 13, 2013 to answer to the charges.
