(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has concluded an investigation into reports of a male school bus driver having inappropriately touched female students.
Investigation revealed that these incidents occurred sometime during the months of April and May 2013 while the man was engaged in his duties as a bus driver for a local school bus company. The driver was immediately suspended by the school bus company when this information became known.
Donald WEIR age 64 of Stratford has been charged with two counts of Sexual Exploitation contrary to section 153(a) of the Criminal Code, and two counts of Sexual Assault contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on July 22, 2013 to answer to these charges.
