(TOWN OF FERGUS, ON) – On Tuesday July 9, 2013 at approximately 9:24 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers investigated the driver of a pocket dirt bike on St. Andrew Street at Tower Street in the Town of Fergus.
Police spoke to the male who was attempting to restart his bike and discovered that he had been drinking. He was placed under arrest for impaired driving. Further investigation revealed that the bike was uninsured and that the male’s driver’s licence was under suspension.
Kyle Yanosik aged 23 of Fergus has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada as well as a number of other Provincial Offences Act charges. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on August 16, 2013 to answer to the charges.
