(BRUCE TWP, ON) – On July 11, 2013 at 7:08 am, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 21 in Bruce Township observed a Red Dodge Dakota moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 114 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The truck was stopped and the officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 44 year old Scott GIES of Kincardine has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Speeding. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 26, 2013 to answer to the charges.
