(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) – On Thursday July 25th, 2013 at approximately 10:20pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on Highway 6 near Side Road 7 in Wellington North Township. Police investigated the occupants of a 1987 Oldsmobile that entered into the RIDE check point and during the investigation; marihuana was turned over to police.
Cody LAMSWOOD aged 22 of Brant County is charged with Possession of Marihuana Over 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 10th, 2013 to answer to the charge.
