(ST.MARYS, ON) On Tuesday May 18, 2010 Perth County OPP officers were called to two separate thefts from Glass St. and Guest Ct. in the north end of St.Marys.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Monday May 17th and 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 18th someone cut the latch from a construction trailer which was parked in front of a home under construction on Guest Ct. A large number of professional tools were removed from the trailer. The tools included a DeWalt drywall gun, two Stanley Bostitch roofing nailers, a DeWalt battery powered sawsall, four DeWalt drywall drills, four Stanley Bostitch nailers, one DeWalt hammer drill, one Millwauke hammer drill, a Stanley transit, a large number of 18 Volt batteries and numerous sets of drill bits.
A call was also received from a home owner on Glass St. around the corner of Guest Ct., reporting that someone had entered their garage sometime during the same time the construction trailer was broken into. The home owner had left the garage door open leaving the contents visible from the roadway. A grey 10â€Makita sliding compound mitre saw was missing from the garage. The saw has a broken plastic blade guide which is glued together.
