(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Wednesday May 19, 2010, shortly after 4 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were responding to a call south east of Milverton were two suspicious males were seen in a pickup truck with an ATV in the back.
Investigation revealed that the two males had been at a residence on Line 61 and were attempting to steal items on the property. Officers arrested the males and found that the pickup truck and ATV they were in possession of, were stolen.
The two males were transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment and were held for a bail hearing today.
Guy Moore (27) of no fixed address was charged with two counts of being in possession of property under $5000 and two counts of breach of probation.
Michael Ford (20) of Palmerston was charged with one count of break and enter with intent, two counts of possession of property under $5000, one count of obstruct – resist peace officer, one count of breach of probation, and one count of failing to comply with undertaking,
After today’s court appearance both men are being held in custody for a second court appearance on Friday May 21, 2010.
