(FERGUS, ON) – On Friday July 26, 2013 at approximately 3:36pm, County of Wellington OPP officers attended the parking lot of the Canadian Tire store in Fergus after witnesses called to report a possible impaired driver with a flat tire.
Police spoke to the driver of the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt, and determined alcohol had been consumed.
Karen Garnett, age 55 of Guelph has been charged with Impaired Operation and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on September 10, 2013 to answer to the charges.
