Loss prevention officers from a Georgian Mall department store contacted police to investigate several credit card frauds over the past nine months. An officer attended and received information from security about the ongoing frauds. After the officer left and was in the parking lot writing notes store security called back to advise the male was in the store.
The male was apprehended and found to be in possession of three fraudulent credit cards. The male continually lied to police about his name due to the fact he had an outstanding arrest warrant. The male now faces 12 criminal charges and further investigation is pending into several more credit card frauds in the GTA.
