(Central Huron, ON) Bayfield Road just west of Clinton has now been re-opened following a clean up that lasted more than 8 hours.
A 47 year old Shelburne man has been charged with Careless Driving after he attempted to go westbound under the Goderich-Exeter Railroad Bridge but was not successful. His truck was damaged and the enclosed trailer that he was pulling was demolished. The driver suffered minor injuries.
After an inspection, the bridge was deemed safe and the collision did not affect rail travel in that area.
