Wingham restaurant Buck & Jo’s was started in part to celebrate Wingham’s Liberation and to offer low cost hot meals to everyone, even those on extremely tight budgets. Everyone deserves the dignity of a hot meal and to socialize with other members of our Community. The prices are so low it has lead to comments that Buck & Jo’s is basically a soup kitchen, our response to this comment is offering homemade vegetable soup for $1.
As to the “Morons and misfits” comments. Those seeking to belittle any of our customers on premises will be asked to leave, then forcibly removed if they fail to comply. If you think you have more Rights or are superior to those that are alternately abled or elderly, then Buck & Jo’s isn’t the place for you.
We feel no shame offering affordable hot food 6 days a week, a warming center for those stuck in the cold, conversation and games to help kill time, and as always no purchase is necessary.
