A 22 year old Barrie resident who was recently released from custody on drug related charges was on parole and being monitored by an electronic supervision program. Barrie police officers were on routine patrol and queried the subjects vehicle which was located at a local business establishment on Dunlop Street West, in the City of Barrie.
The male was found violating several conditions on his parole and arrested by Barrie City Police Officers inside the business establishment. The male is being detained at Barrie Police Headquarters and will be remanded into custody to complete the remainder of his original term of imprisonment.
