A Barrie Police officer on general patrol observed a vehicle with four suspicious people inside at the intersection of Dunlop Street and Eccles Street. The vehicle was subsequently pulled over for further investigation.
Police discovered the driver a 37 year old male from Barrie was wanted by Barrie Police for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and breaching his probation order.
A 23 year old female passenger was also wanted by Barrie Police Service for failing to attend court.
Both were arrested and transported to the Barrie Police station and held for a bail hearing.
