(KINCARDINE, ON.) – On June 27th, 2010 at 12:13 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a complaint of “take motor vehicle without consentâ€. Officers located the missing pickup truck in the village of Paisley. The driver initially refused to stop, then chose to stop at a residence along Church Street in Paisley. After stopping the truck, the male driver fought with police. An on duty OPP officer was treated at the Walkerton hospital for minor injuries and released.
46 year old William Tooke of Paisley is charged with Flight from police, Assault police, Obstruct Police and Possession of a Controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on July 26th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
