(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP officers in Mitchell were contacted by a parent advising that her child’s personal belongings had been stolen from the Mitchell Lions Pool change room.
Between 3 and 5 p.m. on Tuesday June 29, 2010, while the child was swimming, someone entered the boys change room and removed an I Pod Touch and $30 from his wallet.
The Perth County OPP is reminding pool users to leave valuables at home or bring them to the Life Guard station for safe storage. The public is advised that Perth County OPP officers will be making periodic walk through’s of the Lions Pool facilities this summer.
