On August 15, 2013 at 1:29 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop on Lyon Avenue after receiving a report that the vehicle had been driving erratically. Police spoke to the male driver and determined he was impaired. Police arrested the male who did attempt to resist. Once at the station the male refused to provide any breath samples.
A 65-year-old Guelph male has been charged with impaired driving, resist arrest and refuse to provide breath sample. He has been held in custody and will attend bail court on August 16, 2013.
