(KINCARDINE, ON.) – Members of the Grey County OPP responded to a farm located on along Highway 6 & 10 shortly after 4:00 p.m. on the 2nd of July 2010 to a report of persons struck by a farm tractor.
The investigation revealed that a 26-year-old female was, killed and a 27-year-old female sent to a London Hospital with life-threatening injury after they were both struck by the tractor.
OPP arrested a male suspect at the scene. The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch under the direction of Detective Inspector Scott Thomson has been called in to investigate the incident.
This is an isolated incident and the OPP assure the area residents that public safety is not compromised at this time. Names of the victims and person arrested are not available at this time pending further investigation and notification of the next-of-kin. Charges are pending.
