(WEST PERTH, ON) – On February 16, 2019 at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Perth County detachment on general patrol observed a pickup with loud exhaust travelling in the Town of Mitchell.
OPP officers conducted a traffic stop and found 3 males in a pickup. The pickup was found to not be properly fitted with a muffler, but had a straight pipe replacing the muffler.
Gage ROHFRITSCH, 18-years-old, of the Municipality of West Perth, was charged with:
No muffler – motor vehicle.
Jason OSSENDRYVER, 18-years-old, of the Township of Perth East, was charged with:
Passenger – fail to properly wear seat belt.
Lucas O’ROURKE, 18-years-old, of the Municipality of West Perth, was charged with:
Person under 19 years having liquor.
The OPP want to remind the public that properly wearing a seatbelt can reduce injuries and save lives on our highways.
