(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Wednesday July 07, 2010, at 7:28 a.m. Perth County OPP officers, the Twp. of Perth East Fire Department and Perth County Ambulance personnel were dispatched to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Perth Line 26 and Road 119 (Hwy. 7).
Investigation revealed that a south bound pickup truck on Road 119 turned east onto Perth Line 26 in front of a north bound sedan. The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles and resulted in both drivers being transported to Stratford General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The highway is currently reduced to one lane of traffic until the debris and vehicles can be removed from the scene. The Perth County OPP is continuing to investigate this collision.
