(LISTOWEL, ON) On Sunday morning July 11, 2010 at 2:03 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer on patrol on Wallace Ave. S., observed a large garbage dumpster on fire beside the Salvation Army Thrift store. The dumpster is located on the lot at the corner of Wallace Ave. S. and Elma St. E. The North Perth Fire Dept. attended and extinguished the fire without incident.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen suspicious activity at or near the dumpster in the early hours of Sunday morning to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
