Barrie Police officers attended a Fairview Road Hotel regarding a complaint drug use.
Officers located a female and male in their 20’s from Barrie in a room. The male tried to escape however was arrested a short distance away.
Police with the assistance of the Barrie Police K-9 Unit have recovered the following:
1. 8 lbs of Marijuana – value $24,000.00
2. 4 oz. of Cocaine – Value $10,000.00
3. Approximately $40,000.00 in Canadian bills
Both suspects were arrested and transported the Barrie Police Station for further investigation.
