The London Police Service seized a firearm, ammunition and over $670,000 worth of drugs.
On Thursday, August 29, 2013, members of the London Police Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Sportsfield Court and a residence on Baseline Road East.

398 marihuana plants, valued at $398,000
27,457 marihuana bud, valued at $274,570

As a result of the investigation, 31-year-old Davin Alexander, 29-year-old Mickel Alexander, 23-year-old Keegan Alexander, and 62-year-old Cicily Alexander, all of London, are being charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
Possess of firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, contrary to section 92(1);
Careless storage of firearm, contrary to section 86(1); and
Careless storage of ammunition, contrary to section 86(1).
Mickel Alexander is further being charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(1); and
Unlawfully produce schedule II substance, contrary to section 7(1).
