The Chatham-Kent police have arrested two women in connection with as assault in Chatham.
In the early morning hours of September 2, a 32-year-old Chatham woman was assaulted in a car by two women as they returned home from a party. The woman was dropped off in Chatham and threatened. Officers found the woman walking home with facial injuries. The woman refused medical treatment.
Through investigation, officers identified the two women responsible for the assault.
A 36-year-old London woman and 31-year-old Chatham woman have both been arrested and charged with assault.
