On September 3, 2013 at 8:17 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to the Suffolk Street area after receiving a call about an animal being struck by a car. Investigation determined the animal was a Great Dane dog that was on the loose and was struck by two separate cars. The dog died at the scene. The dogs owners have been located.
