(GODERICH, ON) Just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2013 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a report of a possible intoxicated male walking on the highway near the south end of Goderich. Officers were able to locate the male and upon speaking with the male it was observed he was heavily intoxicated. The male was arrested under the authority of the Liquor Licence Act for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place. Upon searching the male, officers located suspected marihuana.
As a result, 18 year old Wyatt HILL from Oneida has been charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place contrary to section 31 (4) Liquor Licence Act and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana contrary to section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
