(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Saturday August 07, 2010 at approximately 8:30 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer on patrol in Listowel observed the driver of car not wearing a seatbelt.
The officer pulled over the vehicle on Wallace Ave. N. The driver was administered an alcohol roadside screening device test on which the driver registered a fail. The driver was subsequently arrested and transported to the North Perth OPP Detachment where breath tests were conducted. These tests results were in excess of .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Kyle Mackenzie (25) of the Municipality of North Perth was charged with operating a motor vehicle having in excess of 80 milligrams of blood alcohol in one hundred millilitres of blood. He is to appear in criminal court at the Atwood Community Centre on September 22nd 2010 to answer to this charge.
