Around 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning, a 58-year-old Windsor man struck a hydro pole on King Street West in Chatham causing approximately $2000 damage. The man was not injured. He was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a 35-year-old Chatham woman struck a 66-year-old Chatham woman on Grand Avenue West near Churchill Street. Neither driver was injured. Total damages were estimated at $4000. The 35-year-old woman was charged with disobeying a red light.
