(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to the Jackson Crescent area of town around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning August 08, 2010. A number of people who reside in the Crescent were returning home when they observed a young male inside a vehicle on one of the driveways. The young male took off running but was caught by two of the residents who detained him until the police arrived.
The young male was arrested for theft under $5000 and for failing to comply with a release undertaking. The male was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone in the Jackson Crescent area who had their vehicle entered between Saturday night and Sunday morning to contact the Perth County OPP in Listowel.
