The Barrie Police Service responded to a central-barrie residence in regards to a domestic disturbance. Once on scene, the officers observed drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. The male occupant of the residence was also the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Domestic Assault. He was arrested on the authority of the outstanding warrant and now faces fresh charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He was lodged in cells; pending a bail hearing.
