(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday August 12, 2010 shortly after 5 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 20 West of Fullarton.
Upon police arrival no person was found to be with the vehicle. The vehicle, an older model Ford Mustang had been driven in an easterly direction on Perth Line 20 when it entered the South ditch and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained extensive damage as a result of this collision. Investigation indicated that the vehicle had been stolen from a residential driveway on Frank St. in Mitchell sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday August 11 and 5:00 a.m. on Thursday August 12. 2010. The keys had been left in the ignition by the owner.
