Bystanders Help Protect Stabbing Victim – Arcilio ARRUDA Faces Multiple Charges

On September 6, 2013 at 11:47 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to the Emma Street area for a disturbance. Investigation alleges that two male friends had left a party on Emma Street and were approached by a male as they walked. The male showing a knife, demanded a cell phone. One of the male friends was stabbed with the knife during the altercation at which time bystanders assisted and the male was taken to the ground and held until police arrived.
The injured male was taken to hospital and treated for a minor stab wound.

Arcilio ARRUDA, 20 years of Guelph has been charged with two counts of breach recognizance, two counts of breach probation, two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of robbery, two counts of weapons dangerous, utter threats and assault cause bodily harm. He will appear in court on September 9,
2013.
