On September 15, 2013 at 4:30 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to the Baker Street parking lot for the report of two females fighting. Investigation alleges that the two females are known to each other and that one female walked up to the other as she sat on a bench and struck her in the face. The struck female fell to the ground where she then had her hair grabbed and received further strikes to the head area. The victim struck back in defense until the aggressor female stopped and walked away. That female then returned within moments and spit in the victims face. Police made an arrest shortly after the incident.
A 34-year-old Guelph female has been charged with assault cause bodily harm and breach probation. She was held in custody and will attend bail court on September 16, 2013.
