(BRANT TWP, ON) – On August 28th, 2010 at 1:15 am, South Bruce OPP officers were conducting a RIDE spot check on Queen Street in the village of Elmwood when an SUV stopped for inspection. Officers quickly determined the driver had been drinking alcohol and he was arrested. 30 year old Christopher Hamel of Elmwood is charged with Operate over 80 Milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on October 18th, 2010 to answer to the charge. Hamel’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
