(Huron County, ON) Between noise complaints, traffic complaints, liquor complaints and RIDE check points, Huron OPP officers were kept hopping during the last long weekend of the summer of 2010. Luckily, we did not have the horrible task of investigating any fatalities on either the land or the water and we are very pleased with those results. It appears that most people took the task of travelling seriously in order to ensure that everyone got to their destination safely.
Now that the kids are back in school we need everyone to remember safety around busses and crossing guards and in school zones. Please keep your heads up for little people who may forget safe walking strategies while travelling to and from school.
