(North Perth, ON) On September 10, 2010 at approximately 5:45 am an incident took place in the Royal Street area of Listowel involving a firearm.
At this time, the OPP Emergency Response Unit, OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit and OPP Canine Unit are on scene searching for the male involved in the incident. The male should be considered armed and should not be approached.
The male being sought by the OPP is Joshua DRUMOND. He is 19 years old. He was wearing a grey jacket, grey pants and a grey ball cap. He was on foot and was walking a pit bull dog.
Several road blocks have been set up in the area and citizens are being asked to stay away.
Schools in the area are currently in lock down as a security precaution.
