(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP, ON) On Wednesday September 25, 2013, at approximately 11:30pm, officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were patrolling Concession 9, Wellington North Township. The 1997 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stopped and the male driver had consumed alcohol.
Wayne SHEWAN age 42 of Palmerston has been charged with Impaired Driving, Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 11, 2013 to answer to the charge.
Hi driver’s licence has also been suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
