Randy JOHNSTON – Drunk Driving ATV

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 51 year old male from North Perth with Impaired Operation and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. At approximately 2:35 p.m. on September 28, 2013 a Perth County OPP stopped the driver of a green Kawasaki All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on Fishleigh Street in Monkton.

Upon speaking with the driver the officer noted the driver was displaying several signs of alcohol consumption. It was determined the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was transported to the Listowel OPP Detachment for breath tests. He provided two samples of his breath; both were above the legal limit.

Randy JOHNSTON, 51, from North Perth has been charged with Impaired Operation and Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Listowel on October 28, 2013. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
