On October 9, 2013 at 5:00 p.m., a 2011 Suzuki motorcycle, being operated by a 23-year-old Guelph male and an unknown grey/ silver SUV was travelling northbound on Edinburgh Road South approaching the intersection at Stone Road. The SUV and the motorcycle collided, causing the driver of the motorcycle to be ejected from his bike. The driver of the SUV failed to stop and was last seen turning left on Stone Road, travelling westbound. The SUV may have damage to its driver’s side front corner and bumper area. The driver of the SUV is described as a male with a darker complexion and approximately 30-years-old.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported by EMS to Guelph General Hospital. The male suffered injuries to both of his legs.
