(Ottawa) Three days into the Pixels for Pistols gun amnesty program and more than 100 firearms have been already been recovered.
The Ottawa Police Service wants to remind Ottawa residents not to bring guns to us. We pick them up!
Firearm pickups will be done by officers dedicated exclusively to the amnesty;
Firearms cannot be brought into any police facility or Henry’s location;
Residents wishing to surrender a firearm can call police at 613-236-1222, ext. 7300 or by emailing [email protected].
There have been three incidents where firearms were brought to into police stations. While public safety was not at risk in these situations, you are reminded not to bring them to police stations.
