Yesterday morning around 11:30 a.m. emergency crews responded to a two vehicle collision on Bearline Road between Belle Rose Line and Brook Line.
A 45-year-old Maidstone woman was traveling northbound on Bearline Road while pulling a trailer. The trailer became unhooked from her vehicle and crossed into the southbound lane striking an oncoming vehicle being driven by a 37-year-old Croton man.
The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance via ambulance and later transferred to a London hospital with serious injuries. Total damage was estimated at $25,000.
The woman has been charged with having an insecure load.
