An officer of the Community Patrol Section observed a motor vehicle driving erratically at approximately 11:00 p.m. last night on Kiel Drive in the community of Chatham. A traffic stop was made, the 23 year old driver, a resident from Belle River exhibited signs of impairment. He was arrested for impaired driving. Intoxilyzer tests were administered and revealed the driver was over the legal limit by almost three (3) times. The man was later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date, charged with impaired driving and exceeding the legal limit.
