A 27 year old male is facing charges of Over 80 mg of alcohol while operating his motor vehicle near the area of Dunlop Street and High Street. Officers on patrol spotted the vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. The male who is a Barrie resident provided a suitable sample into an approved screening device and registered a Fail.
Further investigation revealed that the male’s Ontario driver’s license had been suspended as of October 3rd, 2013 for unpaid fines.The male was provided a court date for both offences and released from custody.
