(Bluewater, ON) At approximately 2:00 am on October 17, 2010 a Huron OPP officer stopped a motorist in Hensall. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer formed the grounds to demand that the driver provide a roadside sample of her breath. The driver complied but failed the test. She was arrested and taken to the Goderich OPP Detachment where she met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two more samples of her breath. The results confirmed that she had a blood alcohol level that was in excess of the legal limit of 80 milligrams.
As a result of the traffic stop, Ashley INGRAM (23) of Bluewater has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She will answer to her charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on November 25, 2010.
